ACTIVITY AT NO. 2. Great activity was displayed at No. 2 bore yesterday, where apparently another very strong gas vein has been tapped. For some time boring has? been carried on in fairly solid country, over 100 feet having been drilled since the tyst producing vein '"as tapped and passed. The oil from the upper veins, which is flowing continually from between the casings, shows no sign whatever of diminution. No. 3 continues to be very active. Drilling at both bores is proceediig apace.
