Hewitt's Pictures to-night. The Omata Road Board insert a notice of interest to ratepayers in that district. The annual general meeting of the East End Card Club will be held at the Association's rooms on Thursday evening next. The Mayor has convened a meeting of ladies to be held at the Town Hall on Wednesday afternoon to make arrangements to entertain our pioneer settlers to afternoon tea on March 31st, the anniversary of Taranaki. Irish music has a charm about it which appeals to all classes of people. The programme for the St. Patrick's concert appears in another column, and should be sufficient to induce lovers of good musi" to attend the Theatre Royal next Thursday evening. The box plan is at Collier and Co.'s shop, where dress circle seats may be reserved. A dance will be held immediately after the concert, and will be carried on till 3 a.m. A test parcel.
