ANXIETY RWARDING THEIR SAFETY. By Telegraph.—Press' Association. Wellington, March 14. Late on Saturday night tha Hon. T» McKenzie, Minister of Agriculture, rereived a. telegram (from GiVymoutSi from Mr T. Seddon, M.P., to the effect that considerable anxiety was felt re> garding the safety of Dr Terchelmann and Guide Alexander Graham. For some time past they have been engaged in exploring the Southern Alps. Fortunately the Minister was able to get into telegraphic touch with the Mount Cook Hermitage, and gave instructtoas that relief parties' should be sent out at the earliest possible moment. EXPLORERS TURN UP SAFELY. Christchureh, Lost Nighi. A Christchureh resident received a telegram from a Ilokitikn resident this evening to the effect that Dr Teichelmann Ims reached Hokitika Safely. Dr Teichelman, with Guide Graham, left Lake Heron on February 28th with the intention of going up the Rakaia Valley and •attempting the ascent of Mt. Arrowsmith, returning to the West Coast by the big Wanganui, and owing to their .non-arrival some concern was folti as to their *afetv.
