Competition was keen throughout and prices were firm, as follows:—Her.s, Is 4d to 2s Id; pullets, to 2s sd; cockerels, upto 2s 4(1; roosters. Is 3d to Is lid: ducks, Is (id to Is !)d; turkey liens, 4s 3d to 4s Gd. Furniture urn! usual mart lines sold well. Fruit.--Supplies are being well maintained. and prices are about on a par with last weeirs.
