The Broken Hill branch of the Amalgamated Miners' Association adopted a resolution that the recognition of militarism in any shape or form is (bitterly antagonistic to the best interests of the working class, and views with alarm the growth of the cadet system It calls upon its members and workers generally to stamp out this pernicious influence by refusing to become identified or allow their sons to join the cadet companies.
