A conference o'i 125 delegates, representing 52,500 members of the Miners' .Federation met in London and considered tha South Wales trouble. After a long anil secret discussion it ordered its officials to consult with the executive of the South Wales miners with a view to a settlement. The outlook is now considered more hopeful.
