AN HISTORIC DOCUMENT
EARLY PLAN OF PORT JACKSON. By Cable. —Prees Association. —Copyright Sydney, March 10. The Lands Department unearthed a map giving a plan of Port Jackson in 1792. It bears a note in the handwriting of Governor Phillips, which sets forth that all lands and buildings ■within the boundary definitely of Sydney shall remain the property of the Crown. The historic document has been sent to the Mitchell Library.
