"i received this morning your letter re acount in which you treal me that you would summons me i would be pleased' to pay you but 1 am a nit too far from Palmerston North 18,300 Miles about 52 days travelling and money a Tiit too scarce if i would some more money brought home i would send you some to open a class to civilise a bit your fellow countrimen for taking them out of their ignorance and apreciate a man's work and not be gullied by false adv but. time will come if i ever come back to New Zealand in a couple of hundred years when i hope the New Zealandors will be in the hands of germaine or japan then i will be pleased to pay you at present money is wanted it is snowing outside and to-day Sunday 5 December 1909 it is biterly cold
