NEWSPAPERS HEAVILY MULCTED. By Cable,.—Prees Association.—-Copyright Received March 9. 9.45 p.m. London, March 9. Ogston and Tenant, soap manufacturers, were awarded £9OOO damages against the Glasgow Daily Record for defamation in connection with the recent Dailv Mail-Lever Bros, libels. An action against the associated newspapers and another against the Harmsworth association was settled, Ogston receiving £4500 and costs.
