LABOR'S MANIFESTO. By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright Sydney. March 5. The Federal Labo r Party has issued an election manifesto. After condemnation of the fusion of parties and reviewing Labor's legislative record, the manifesto announces the following ten planks as forming the fighting platform: —Maintenance of a White Australia; new protection; nationalisation of monopolies; graduated tax on unimproved laud values; citizens' defence force; Commonwealth bank; restriction of public borrowing; navigation laws; Arbitration Act amendment; insurance, including insurance against unemployment. If concludes: ''The progressive legislation ot recent years has beer: due to the influence of the Labor Party. We now ask the electors to give us a majority in order to break down land monopoly, develop Australia, give effect to our platform, and administer our laws." The President of the Labor Council, replying to Mr. Wade's statement with regard to the Industrial Disputes Act, says the policy the council always favored in settling disputes was by arbitration only. The point of difference is with regard to the method to be adopted.
