THE LABOR AGITATOR.
"THE WORKERS' WORST ENEMY." By Cable.—Press Association.—-Copyright Sydney, March 4. The Hon. Mr. Wade, Premier of New South Wales, has prepared a statement in vindication of the Government's policy in regard to industrial disputes. He declares that the Industrial Disputes Act would never be involved against the unions in carrying out the legitimate work of unions. At the same time it offers to the unionists, as well as to the public, simple protection against a class of men that are the workers' worst enemy and a menace to the public. A deputation of recently discharged free laborers complained to the Minister of Works of unjust treatment by .employers, and 'then offered to unload Government <*oal cargoes. The Minister declined to lalse any action. The Labor Council has decided to pay £3 each weekly to the 'families of the imprisoned strike leaders, with 5s additional for every child under 10.
