STRATFORD DAY BY DAY.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) The case of Cowen versus J. Mounsey and C. Elisor, locally known as the Toko assault case, occupied the attention of the S.M. Court all day yesterday, Messrs. S. Ward and J. Masters being the presiding Justices. A number of witnesses wore called and finally the case was dismissed. The Troubadours had a packed house here last night. Miss Harding, who leaves on a trip Home next week, was presented yesterday with a travelling rug, a leather writing case, a,travelling clock, and a "peggy" bag 'By her friends. The presentation was made by Mrs. D. J. Ma lone.
