Senator Gillinger, introducing a Bill to incorporate tlie Rockefeller Foundation District in Columbia, explained that Mr. Rockefeller Tiad already given away 52 million' doners,* and seeks by this method of disposing of his fortune u> benefii mankind. The Foundation's aim is to promote the well-being of the people of the United States and its possessions abroad, the dissemination of Knowledge, and the relief of the suffering.
