(By "Splodge.") The final fixture between the East End and the Beach ended in another win for the Beach in the relay race and another win for the East End in the polo match. The last fixture to be decided is' West v. Beach, which cannot affect, the result', The mile championship of the New Plymouth Club for the cup presented by Mr. James Smith is to be swum on Ist March (Tuesday week). Besides this event a boys' race and a 50yds handicap will be swum on the same night. On Tuesday, Bth March, the club is to hold another night sports meeting. On Thursday afternoon, 24th instant, the Stratford Club are having a sports meeting at which several New Plymouth swimmers will compete, while the next Thursday, 3rd March, sports are being held at Inglewood, when New Plymouth will be well represented.
