A deputation waited on Dr. Newman, asking him to reconsider his decision not to seek re-election for the city mayoralty. Dr. Newman promised to reply in a few days. RAILWAY REVENUE INCREASES. The Minister of Railways stated today that the revenue from railways far the four-weekly period ended Februr,\v ft was £275,029, an increase of £34,50(1 over the corresponding period of last year.
