■ TARANAKI RTFLE ASSOCIATION. Entries received for this year's meeting of the Taranaki Rifle Association, which opens at the Rewa Rewa to-day, do not reach the number for the mevious year,, although thers will b e 'bout sixty taking part in the dm,petjtie. s. The Auckland district will again W represented by Captain Potter, th. j I- esent holder of the Association's champion belt, and Lieut. Atkinson, both well-known shots. Shooting will commence promptly at 7.30 a.m. Arran»eme it-: have been made for 'buses to haw lown at 6.45 a.m. In Ihe absence of the secretary (Ser<n. -Major Sanderson), Captain Mills i* acting in this capacity for the meeting. The annual meeting of the Association will take place in the Drill Hall to-night.
