Ward, who represents Wellington at the Xew Zealand championship meeting at Auckland on Saturday, leaves for the north on Wednesday night. A meeting of athletes and others intrested in holding a sports meeting on Easter Monday will be held in the Town Hall on Wednesday evening. It is to lie hoped there will be a large attend- > ance, otherwise Xew Plymouth will hare to default in the matter of a cash sports meeting for the first time for many years.
