Received February 21, 10.40 p.m. Sydney. February 21. The full Court dismisesd the appeal against the conviction of a number of miners' officials recently lined £IOO each, with the alternative of two months' imprisonment, for the instigation of the discontinuance of work. The ground of the appeal was the uncertain wording of the charge. NEWCASTLE MTNF'S DECIDE FOR VIM!! a. Received February 22, 1.10 a.m. Sydney, February 21. The Newcastle miners' ballot resulted in 4029 voting for'and 1751 against *.•!« resumption of work.
