Signor Luzzati, Italian Minister for Commerce, has issued a circular ro the industrial concerns, stating that if free trade collapses in England, Italy will probably be obliged to renounce her commercial treaties with other Powers before their expiration. Signor Luzzatti suggests an international conference, and adds that Italy may have to follow France and the United States in abandoning commerical treaties in favor of maximum and minimum tariffs.
