On the Ist March next, the Imperial -infantry drill manuals will he adopted I for all unmounted units of the defence forces. All district commanders will .meet the Chief of the General Staff at /the headquarters office, Wellington, nt 10 a.m. on 7th March, 1!U0, for,the purpose of discussing the Defence Act and .certain points relating to the new rei gulations, and the establishment of the I Territorial Forces, .senior cadets and •rifle clubs. A scheme of registration of .the general training section will also | be considered, and a board of officers of ' all arms appointed to compile regulal tions to carry out the provision_of tiie I Defence Act.
