The long-heralded visit of the great men's missioner, who has partly completed his three years' tour of the world, in which lie has addressed tens of thousands of men, comes to pass on Friday -23 th February, at the Theatre Royal. From every quarter come the reports of his' great power as a speaker to men, of his faculty for suiting his message to his audience, and his ability to grip the attention of his hearers from the start and to hold it to the end. When he spoke on the Stock 'Exchange at Gympie, the opinion was freely expressed that he bad erred oil the side of brevity, at Maryborough. addressing the workmen at the largest private firm of engineers in Queensland, the impression was voiced as follows:—"I could have listened to him all night; but, by Jove, didn't lift give it us hot!" A leading Brisbane doctor's opinion was, "Xo one should 1 miss hearing him—as a speaker he is an education; as a preacher, an inspiration." His welcome ought, therefore, to be assured.
