A man named Edward Charles McLean, aged HO years, residing with hin parents at Crecn Island, was brought to the hospital to-night sulVering from wounds believed to have been seifinllicted. Tie is of a silent and reserved 'disposition, and for the jiast two days has been in bed owing to pains in the head. To-night lie was found on the floor bleeding profusely from openings 'in th« veins of his left arm and lew. ]le is progressing favorably.
