A STIUXTTXG FATALITY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, Tuesday. Another shocking fatality occurred at Frankton Junction at six o'clock last evening, when William MePykc, a shunter, aged 27 years, a single man. met his death through shunting. He was riding on the cowcatcher, when apparently lis foot slipped and he fell in front of the engine, which passed over 'aim, severing both legs. lie died in the hospital tour hours later. SUICIDE BY SHOOTING. Auckland, Tuesday. A telegram from .Manngatawhiri jeports the suicide by shooting of a man named J. C. Scott, A MAORI KILLED. Ma.sterton, Tuesday. The deal! body of a well-known Maori farmer namer Te TTuki was found near Masterton. Deceased was riding a half-broken-in stallion, which apparently threw him and kicked him on the chest.
