INSURGENTS AMBUSHED. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copy right London February (i. Desultory fighting is taking place in Nicaragua. A large body of insurgents was ambushed near Libertad and suffered heavily. They fled to the mountains. A hundred were killed at Santa Tomas and many captured. ' British bluejackets landed aj; Greytown and assisted in •flames caused by the insurgents' gunboat shells.
