The SolicitorGeneral expressed the opinion that the evidence was sufficient to justify the decision as a matter of law. In conclusion, Captain Knyvett was truilty of insubordination wi'thin the meaning of section 54 oT ili'e Defence Act. The Attorney-General coniirined this, and the Cabinet had decided that it had no recommendation to make to the Governor, meaning that the original decision is adhered to.
