TRIAL SIITPMEXT TO THE OLD COUXTEY. "Ry Telegraph.—Press Association. Nelson, Last Night. The Hon. Tlios. Mackenzie, Minister for Agriculture, left for the West Coast to-day. "While in the district Mr. Mackenzie inspected several orchards in the Khvaka and Motueha district. When interviewed to-day, he announced that arrangements had been made for Mr. TTalhim, orchard inspector, to proceed to Tasmania to collect information iv shipping fruit to England. On his return, lie would superintend the packing and grading of (10.000 cases from XelRon. The Covernment was guaranteeing growers one penny per pound.
