COL. COLLINS SUCCEEDS MR. ; WARBURTGN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Cabinet has appointed Colonel R. J. Collins Auditor and Comptroller-Gen-eral, vice Mr. J. K. Warburton, resigned, and Mr. J. W. Poynton succeeds Col. Collins as Secretary to the Treasury. The new State Guaranteed Advances Board appointments were made to-night by Governor-in-Couneil. In addition to the Minister of Finance and the Superintendent of the Department, Messrs J. K. Warburton and 11. Kember (Wellington) are appointed members of the Board outside the Civil Service, and the two Civil Service representatives are I)r. Fitchett (Public Trustee) and Professor Salmond (Solicitor-General). The first meeting of the Board wiil be held tomorrow.
