UNHAPPY GREECE.
DEMAND FOR A NATIONAL ASSEMBLY. By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright Received January 31, 9.20 p.m. Athens, January 31. King George of Greece at first opposed the Military League's demand for a national assembly, because the constitution demands a precedent on the part of two successive parliaments for such a thing. Subsequently, however, the King agreed to convocate a national assembly. M. Dragonmis forms an extra Parliamentary Cabinet, which dissolves after the issue of a Royal decree summoning the assembly.
