George Olliver. charged with attempting to niunlcv his wife at Kingsland. and with attempting suicide, appeared at the Police Court to dav. A remand for a week was granted, 'hut oil accusers counsel applying for bail on the trrounri that imprisonment was affect in;.' accused's health, the police objected because Olliver had told a constable he was not sorrv for what he had done and oniy wished he had to meet, the ends of justice b'v the last sentence of the law. The application for bai 1 -was adjournel.
