PROMOTIONS AND CHANGES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Promotions and changes in the stall" of the Post and Telegraph Department have been approved by tiie PostmasterGeneral, Sir Joseph Ward, as follows: Mr. H. W. Harrington, late officer i"i charge at Wellington, to be Inspector ot" Telegraph Offices, in place of Mr. .1 Ballard, who has been superannuated: Mr. W. E. Chisholm, assistant Telegraph Engineer at Wellington, to be Telegraph Engineer at Nelson; Mr. R. Rami, electrician at Wellington, to be assistant Telegraph Engineer at Wellington; Mr. G. T. Kemp, assistant Electrician at Wellington, and Mr. E. P. Cowles, clerk in the.local Telegraph Engineer's office, to be R'ub-Telegraph Engineers at Wellington; Mr. R. Crow, clerk in the Supe"intendent of Electric Line*' office, replaces Mr. Cowles 011 the Telegraph Engineer's office: and Mr. L. L. Macev. of New Plymouth, succeeds Mr. Cvow in the office of the Superintendent of Kleetric Lines.
