The most acceptable present is one that is an eminently useful article, and vet on the borderland, as it were, of luxury, and not as a rule purchased for oneself. %hite and Sons 'have some very good articles in furnishing, such as malice admirable presents from husband to wife, or from parents to married children—good linen napery, tablecloths, fancy curtains, handsome quilts, and other lines, at very moderate rates.
