ACCIDENT AT APITI.
PROFESSOR'S WIFE KILLED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Mrs. Ficken waa killed at Apiti today. She was a native of Glasgow. She was a Miss Climie. She was loss than thirty years of age, and leaves It child not a year old. Mm. Ficken** mother (Mrs. Climie) was recently tmiting her daughter and son-in-law, and arrived back in London a week ago. The deceased was a graduate of Glasgow University, where she was • student of Professor Rankin Crown, now of Victoria College. Mrs. Ficken *as very popular among the students of Victoria College, where her husband if Professor of Mathematics. She entered ■warm-heartedly into the students' work, and "wae on the committee of management of the Women's Student*' Ilostul.
