A DAMNING REPORT. J Received December 28, 10.35 p.m. Copenhagen, December 22. The University Committee, including Rasmussen, the Arctic explorer, states that Dr. Cook submitted a typewritten report essentially identical with that supplied to the New York Herald, and copy notebooks which contained no astronomical records. The committee censures Dr. Cook for .submitting a report lacking clear information in an inadmissible degree. The original notebooks were not produced. Mr. Lonsdale (IJr. Cook's secretary) states that lie sent these by another route to frustrate a plot to steal them. Press comments in London and Now York suggest that the report ends Dr. Cook's pretensions.
