WANGANUI HOSPITAL BOARD. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. The Hospital Board decided to-day In invite tenders for the erection of a hospital at Taihape, and decided to add to the Wanganui Hospital a ward 011 the open-air principle capable of accommodating 18 patients. It was also resolved to increase the infectious disease ward to accommodate eleven more patients. MEAT COMPANY'S BALANCESHEET. Christchurch, Last Night. The fifth annual report of the British and New Zealand Meat and Produce Co. shows a balance at credit of prolit and loss account amounting to £3520 17s lOd, which the directors consider very satisfactory, and recommend that It be dealt with as' follows: In payment of dividend at the rata of 8 per cent, per annum, £1230 12s sd; in payment of balance of preliminary expenses, £1000; in reduction of the patent rights of defroster, £GB2 0s 3d; and to carry forward the balance of £6OB ss.
