The body of King Leopold was uwn from the Pavillion des Palmiers, Lacken, to the palace at Brussels by night. Torchlights were carried by a mounted regiment of guides. Prince Albert, with the generals of the Army of the Garde Civiquc accompanied the hearse. Enormous crowds filed past the coffin at the palace on Sunday. The newspapers state Hint Princess Louise's lawyers have given notice to the principal banks that she opposes the payment of deposit* held in th( names,of tho late King Leopold ani Baroness Vaughan. The courts refused Princess Louise's demand that sen!* l.< placed on the rooms in Baroness Vaug han's house.
