By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The following resolution was passed
at a meeting of the Auckland Cliche: Association this evening:—"That ill: New Zealand Cricket Council be informed that this Association is slrom-.i/ against the pooling system for the Australian team's tour and would prefer that each association to which a ma:.-li is granted should p:iy the guarantee for that match and IV expenses of sa'ii'j and appropriate to itself the proiit therefrom." THE WANGANUI ASSOCIATION. Wanganui, Last Night. The Wanganui Cricket Association decided to-night to agree to pay its guarantee of £SO and expenses of the matcli with the Australians, and take all profits. The association also decided in favor of professional coaches being allowed to play in the Plunket Shield and interprovincial matches.
NORTH TARANAKI ASSOCIATION. A meeting of delegates was held m Mr. A. Bewley's office last night ti dejl with the question of guarantee in connection with the tour of the Australian team. 'After considerable discussion H was unanimously resolved that the secretary notify the New Zealand Cric'/.et Council that this Association was in favor of the proposal to pool all profits over and above the amount of guarantee required, and that such profits be divided in proportion to the amount of I guarantee from the New Zealand Cricket Council and the various associaI tions.
The secretary reported that after ss>'erai communications with the Manawatu and Wanganui Cricket Associations, he had arranged for December 29 and 30 as the dates for the Manawatu v. Taranaki match, and January 1 and 3 for the Wanganui v. Taranaki match.
As the Recreation Sports Ground will 'be available for cricket on all tli we dates, it was decided that both thi'se representative matches be played there. The sole selector. Mr. D. Clegg. has been advised of these definite dates with a view to his sorting out certain players for selection.
