The management wish ,to announce that owing to the Horticultural .Society's show, they will not appear on | Wednesday and Thursday, owing to ilie Society having secured the theatre for those nights. They also wish it to hi known that they will appear again nn Friday night, with an entire change of programme. Mr. Hewitt, who is going to a lot of expense to provide a really good, wholesome entertainment, shon'd he greeted with bumper houses. HAYWAKD'S PICTURES. .REOREATIOX GROUNDS. The second open-air performance of Hay ward's Pictures will take place on the Recreation Ground on Friday next, when a splendid programme will be presented, and the management have arranged to place the screen about .sixty feet closer to the terraces, so that people seated there will have a much better view. Among the pictures to be shown is a fine spectacular film. "Paris Oil Warehouse on Fire," to secure which pic'ture the firm of Pal lie Froros, Paris, had about 20 cameras at different points of vantage, to enable them to reproduce what is considered the finest lire picture ever shown. Scenes of Rome, Hamburg and Copenhagen Will give an idea ot other parts of the world, and '•Violet!.'" is a dramatic picture winch no one should miss seeing. Among the other dramatic pictures are '"Die Deception" and "The Avenger," and the comics include " Cure for hiccoughs," " Up-to-date Detective," "Marvellous Ointment," and' "What Happened' to a Seat." Oncshib ,; ng is the price of -admission, children ■sixpence. If the weather is unfavorable the performance will take place in the \\ iiiteley Hall, where the programme will be repeated on Saturday.
