A cable from Adelaide announces the death of Mr. Hutchison, a member of the Federal House. The death of Mr. F. T. Cabbold, a member of the British House of Commons is announced. llr. It. Linton. Edgar left by this morning's mail traiu for Wellington to connect with the s.s. Mnrama for Melbourne. Mr. C. W. Govctt left London on Friday last for New Zealand by the I'. and 0. line. He is due here about the middle of January. Mr. W. Callendar, general manager of the Bank of New Zealand, and Mrs. Callendar, leave on a trip to England by tit New /JealamT' Snipping Company"s new liner Ruahine in February next. The Hon. Sir Henry Bundey, nn exJudge of the Supreme Court of South Australia, is dead. Deceased was born in Kxbury in 1838 and went to Australia in 1849. From 1874 to 1875 he held the portfolios of Minister for Justico and Education. His publications include Some Suggestions on Land lleform, Trade Unions, Yachting in Australia, The Punishment of Criminals, and The Conviction of Innocent Men.
