It was decided to interview the Minister for Minn. It is understood the Minister wan unable, owing to pressure of business, to meet the deputation! tO-<Uy. ALL DEMANDS BEING MET. t •••! -rP»n ' Wostport, Monday. The miners are cheerfully and success, fully seconding the efforts of the conpanics to meet the pressure of demand for coal. At Ngakawau the men make no objection to working on pay Saturday Seddonville and firanity minen are briskly employed. At Dennteton on Friday another daily record was established, (he output for one shift beiiijr lo<3 tons. The waterside men at Westport arc working overtime, and objections are made in isolated cases. The railway is working smartly and the eooperation of all concerned is gratifvinir During Xoven\J>er the output was 71,71:0 tons, while 104 stoamere worked ilm I port.
