Summer coming on, with its evenings, thai are tiresome indoors, the management of I [ay ward's picture entertainments lias made a distinct, advance in catering for the ipopular amusement. The wealth of variety in llayward's picture shows needs no c'ommtfut for the programme is well known to present the latest gems depicting scenery and travel, industry, irresistible humor, and condensed drama, But on these stuffy nights almost any indoor entertainment has its discomforts. So Mr. 11.- Wilson, representing Mr. Ilenry llay ward, lias made special arrangements' for a plant to throw his moving pictures 011 to a screen in the Recreation Grounds. The entertainment will be of the promenade description, patrons being at liberty to stroll about, and to smoke if it pleases litem. Au orchestra will supply music throughout the entertainments, the first of which will be given in the grounds on Friday evening.
