CENTRAL SCHOOL FETE
The Central School fete commune's this afternoon at half-past two o'clock. The entrance fee of Is at the gate includes access to the stallK.' which are gaily decorated, displaying . me, i.igenuity and originality. I'liotugrapbic exhibits include a' very fine series ut views, both ordinary and enlarged, ol landscapes, seascapes, animals, portraits, etc. Educational exhibits include a large collection of samples of writing, drawing, mapping, sketching, brushwork, etc., representing all pans of the Dominion. Industries include a numerous and varied collection of useful and ornamental articles, many of them displaying much skill aud ingenuity oil .the part of {he maker. There will bo brilliant illuminations bv dec- i trie light, Chinese lanterns, firework*, etc. The Garrison Band and Banjo Ban'd will play selections, and there will also be pianola and phonograph selections. The competitions include hairdressing (ladies to bring their own combs and brushes), hat-trimming, naildriving, button-sewing (all ma'teria's supplied), shooting, finding the criminal. Aunt. Sally, Fortune's Wheel, finding [ the treasure, catching the fish, electric telegraph, and quoits. Competitors in I this section pay a small fee , An extra charge of Is will be made to those pat•ronising Madame Zangara, or anv of i,h" entertainments.
