THE WINTER SHOW. The committee of the Tar.niaki Agricultural Society has entered into vlie project of the winter show with a gr?« deal of enthusiasm. A draft schedule for the inaugural show, to be held next year, has been drawn up. The show will'be on similar lines to those at other centres, anil in the course of a fewyears should grow into one of the largest and most popular of these fixtures in the North Island. There will be the usual section for dairy machinery and appliances. Dairy faetorv produce will be well catered for. The butter classes will include best box of butter for export, open to all factories In New Zealand; a novice class for one box export butter, open to toy butter factory or factory manager not having won a' prize to the value of C.">; best private separator butter, and hcM. design in fancy butter. Two classes are proposed for cheese, one for f/icto-y made cheese, and one for farmer- dairymade cheese. Six classes are provided for bams and bacon, these heing divided between factories and farmers.
