The Revs. Avery, Martin, 1 Tinsley and Scott (probationers on , trial) were examined in the book lists, . trial sermons and circuit reports. These Were all considered favorable by the i Bynod, and each wne recommended to j pass iu his jCir subject to his written i examination proving satisfactory. The report of the students of the t'onnexional Institution was received from Three Kings College. Those in residence were reported to have made good progress in their church and academic studies' during the year. It was resolved that the Conference be recommended to set Rev. The-defendant is agent here for certain non-reeident traders, and he was assessed in that capacity. His Worship held defendant was liable, and gave judgment for the plaintiff.
