LADIES' AMBULANCE CLASS
The examination in connection with the St. John's Ambulance class for ladies, which has been conducted in the Town Hall, New Plymouth, by l)r. Blacklev, was held 011 Friday. Drs. Leatham and Fookes acted as examiners. Following are the results: — Tl. marks per cent. Aleen ..... 70 '■ ilaanifon .. .. .. 69 Ella Clarke 09 | The examiners' report read as follows:—"We have pleasure in expressing our appreciation of the high standard to which the majority of the candidates have attained as is shown by the fact that two came within reasonable distance of gaining full marks, and (five others gained more than 75 per cent. The result of the examination is nattering alike to those responsible for the tuition and to The pupils for their careful study and grasp of their subject. We are pkaseH'to say that no candidate has failed."
