A four-roomed wooden residence in a right-of-way off Bower street was gutted by fire at ten o'clock last night during the absence of James Snoswcll, the occupier, who had left everything safe. The building was ouiuxttiy Mrs. J. Griffith, and is insuredl'or £ ioO in the Norwich Union. Snoswcll had an insurance of £135 in the State office on his furniture and effects.
