Hogg delivered a political address hei•:■ last night, and accused the Governme-'- of stealing the Opposition policy. lie referred to them as "dishot»-' instees," who had abandoned !'i '.• principles and made a miserable s..irender. He asked: "After such a betrayal of trust is such a Government likely to retain any endowment lands whatever! How merciful the Premier Is to land monopolists. Has he no mercy lor the workers?" Referring to defence matters, he ridiculed the naval agreement, Defence Council, and permanent force. The Buthor of the defence proposals, he said, was "suffering from military fever contracted from scaremongers." The proposed training grounds would resemble the concentration camps of South 'Africa, and the men who conjured such things must have escaped from somewhere." Concluding, he urged all workers to United and thev would become invincible,
