When stumps were drawn the positions were:—Central 220, versus North 22 for two wickets; Petone 150 and 18 for three wickets, versus Victoria College 57; South 200, versus' East B 09 for six wickets. FIRE BRIGADE v. WAREHOUSEMEN. On Saturday Fire Brigade met Warehousemen on the West End ground. Going in first they knocked up 53, Hardwick and "Mr. Extras" being the only ones to reach double figures. Warehousemen did not do so well, only notching 44, White and Thompson ibeing the largest contributors. Fire Brigade made a capital start in their second innings, registering 70 for the loss of two wicketh, Clarke accounting for 54 and Best 15 (not out).
