A MISSING SHIP
THE CLAN McPHEBSON, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Monday. H.M.B. Challenger has been ordere.l by the Admiral to search the Kermadecs for survivors or wreckage of the ship Clan McPherson, which left Newcaat'e with coal on 24th June for Valparaiso. She is now 129 days out, whereas forty days would be an average passage. It is thought she may be drifting at sea in a dismasted condition. The Challenger will sail to-night direct for the Kermadecs and keep in touch with H.M.S. Prometheus by wireless, returning to Auckland,
