Palmerston X., Last Sight. Edward Charles Woolfenden, a young unmarried man, dropped Jead to-day in a fishing hut while with a fishing party at Katarawa stream, nine miles from Palmerston. Woolfenden was a wellknown resident.
NORMANBY BURNING FATALITY.
At Normanby on Saturday morning a coroner's quest was held concerning tbe fire at the Commercial Hotel. The verdict simply stated that Thomas (iridlcv came to bis end bv being burned: to death. There was nothing to show bow the fire occurred.
