SERIOUS CHARGE AGAINST TWO MIXERS.

Thames, Thursday. [ It is alleged that a man and a woman were brutally assaulted at Xeavesville. Both were brought to the Thames Hospital. It is stated that some men went to the house, knocked the .man about ami attempted to outrage the woman. The latter was severely handled' and rendered insensible. Two men, named ', Mark Richards and Win. Duncan, miners, ■ have been arrested.
